The Anambra State Executive Council (ANSEC) has approved the third batch of the One Youth, Two Skills (1Youth 2Skills) entrepreneurship programme.
The decision was taken at the Council’s 17th meeting for 2026, held on November 2 at the Light House, Awka, under the state’s Solution 2.0 Agenda.
The new batch will undergo selection, placement and training. The Ministry of Youth Development will announce eligibility criteria and application procedures in due course.
More than 13,000 youths have completed the first two batches, receiving training and mentorship in over 60 skill areas. The state government says over 5,000 beneficiaries have become confirmed millionaires and are now empowering others through the programme’s pay-it-forward model.
It aims to expand youth entrepreneurship and create skilled, productive, self-reliant young people.
