The family of late Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba on Friday, August 7th, announced details of her funeral arrangements following her reported death after a battle with cancer.
According to the deceased actress’ family, her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Saint James’ Anglican Church in Iperu Remo, Ogun State.
Immediately after the service, the interment will take place at Iperu Remo Cemetery grounds. The family requested a white dress code for all attendees.
Osoba, whose full name is Osoba Temitope Kofoworola, was born in 1985 and died in 2026 at the age of 40. She built a solid career in Yoruba-language Nollywood films. She appeared in popular titles such as Gucci Girls, Igboro Ti Daru and Oogun Mi. In addition, she produced the movie Single Ladies.
She entered the industry in 2005 after an unexpected dancing role. After that, she worked steadily for nearly two decades and earned respect from colleagues and fans.
Meanwhile, friends and colleagues of Osoba are set to hold a candlelight and artiste night for her, which will take place on August 11 at LTV 8 in Ikeja, Lagos.
The family earlier asked the public to ignore unverified reports about her death. They also requested privacy during this period.
