According to The Athletic, Manchester City are not expected to have any of their previous Premier League titles stripped or redistributed as part of the disciplinary process. Under this expected approach, clubs that finished behind Manchester City in title races would not retrospectively receive those trophies. The situation remains part of an ongoing legal process. Reports emerged on September 25 that an independent commission had found Manchester City guilty on the majority of the Premier League charges, but the full judgment and the precise sanctions had still not been officially published. City have maintained their position and are expected to continue challenging the findings.
