Fifth time may be the charm for Chris Pratt, but at what cost?
The actor and his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, have been trying to sell off their Los Angeles mansion since 2023. The multimillion-dollar residence has been home to the power couple and their three kids since 2021.

Pratt and Schwarzenegger may be on the verge of doing everything possible to sell off their L.A. mansion, even if it includes walking off with little to no gain. The couple has now relisted the house, but this time at a much lower asking price.
The Hollywood star and his wife, with whom he shares three of his four kids, previously put the Pacific Palisades residence on the market for $32 million in July 2023. They dropped the price by $2 million about three months later, before taking it off the market a few days after the first price drop.
In November of the same year, Pratt and the children’s book author relisted the villa at the original $32 million, then delisted it two days later. Bringing the luxurious home back on the market for the fifth time, the lovebirds have slapped a $20 million price tag on the 11,000sq ft property and are yet to find a buyer.

The high-end residence features six bedroom suites, a sauna, a basketball court, and a full-size movie theater. The actor purchased the home in 2018 for $15.6 million and moved in with Schwarzenegger in 2021, nearly two years after their marriage.
According to The Daily Mail, the pair spent those two years tearing down and rebuilding the fixer-upper house that had stood on the plot since 1995, remodeling it into their modern dream home.
The mansion offers dazzling views of Santa Monica and is situated in the hills, with a large saltwater pool, a jacuzzi, and an acre of manicured land. It has a huge indoor kitchen complete with marble countertops and a large breakfast bar.
Equipped with modern facilities to give a “complete wellness experience,” the teakwood spa has hot and cold plunge pools and a steam room. For entertainment, the couple had a golf simulator installed in the villa and furnished the theater with large, plush, green velvet sofas.

Between June 2016 and June 2017, the movie star earned an estimated $18 million from his appearances in various projects. For the first “Jurassic World,” he reportedly earned around $5 million.
His salary doubled to approximately $10 million for 2018’s “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.” For “Jurassic World Dominion,” Pratt reportedly walked away with earnings in the $12 million to $14 million range.

4Last year, the children’s book author opened up about some peculiar traditions they have in their home. She shared that immediately after Halloween, the family switches into full Christmas mode, an agreement she had made with Pratt before they got married.
The Blast reports that the power couple keeps their relationship strong by upholding good communication. Navigating their busy lives, with their individual careers and kids, only goes smoothly because they “do a really good job communicating.”
Schwarzenegger also disclosed that she and the “Parks and Recreation” star thrive as a couple because they complement each other. “He has a lot of strengths that I don’t have, and I have certain strengths that maybe he doesn’t have,” she shared, stating that they make a great team.
Chris Pratt’s Kids Do Not Have Screen Time
4Might appear as quite the irony for a family that lives in a mansion with a highly equipped full-size theater; however, the Hollywood icon revealed that his children do not watch movies. He stated in a previous interview that the decision stemmed from his wife’s “old-school” approach to screens and technology.
Due to this no-movie rule, their three children, Lyla, Eloise, and Ford, have never seen any of his movies or any films at all. Pratt noted that he looks forward to the day when his children will finally see some of his work and “realize their dad is really cool.”
This rule does not apply to his teenage son, Jack, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Anna Faris. The Blast shared that Pratt gushed about spending quality parenting time with his oldest son by taking him to a movie screening. According to the actor, Jack thinks his dad’s job is “pretty cool.”
