“Biggest cover-up ever” — Sowore reacts to the arrest of ‘fake agency’ DG Prince Adeyemi

African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate and activist, Omoyele Sowore, has reacted to the arrest of Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, the alleged Director-General of a “fake agency,” describing the development as an attempt to cover up the truth rather than uncover it.

In a post shared on his social media platform, Sowore questioned the authorities’ handling of the case and called for a broader investigation involving senior government officials.

Sowore alleges cover-up

Reacting to Adeyemi’s arrest, Sowore wrote:

BIGGEsT COVER UP EVER!

“The arrest and reported dehumanization of Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, the alleged Director-General of a ‘fake agency,’ points to what appears to be an official cover-up rather than a genuine search for truth.”

He further argued that if investigators were genuinely committed to uncovering the facts, President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, should also be investigated.

By now, President Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, @femigbaja should also be under arrest and investigation if the authorities are truly committed to uncovering the facts.”

Raises allegations over bribery case

Sowore also made claims regarding an alleged ₦400 million bribery scandal, alleging that key individuals and evidence connected to the case were no longer available.

He stated:

So far, the individual alleged to have collected the ₦400million bribe on @femigbaja behalf has reportedly died under mysterious circumstances, while the hotel allegedly used for the exchange has since been demolished.”

He concluded by accusing the current administration of obstructing justice.

In addition to the real crimes, we are now witnessing obstruction of justice by the @officialABAT criminal regime.”

The allegations made by Sowore reflect his views and have not been independently verified.
