A 76-year-old woman, identified as Grace Edge, has been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting deaths of her ex-husband, Wallace Truman Edge, 75, and his girlfriend, Pamela Cook, 40, in Georgia, United States.

According to reports, the incident happened on Monday afternoon when Grace allegedly went to the couple’s residence on McNatt Falls Road in Uvalda, Toombs County, and opened fire.

Wallace and Pamela were reportedly shot four times each. Pamela’s 55-year-old mother was also inside the home when the shooting occurred. She immediately called 911 for help but was shot in the arm during the incident.
During the emergency call, Pamela’s mother told the dispatcher: “She just come in start shooting”
When asked whether there had been an argument before the shooting, the frantic caller replied, “No, she come in just shooting.”
Authorities said Wallace and Grace had been divorced for more than a decade but had maintained an on-and-off relationship over the years. However, Wallace had recently started dating Pamela, a development investigators believe may have contributed to the incident.
“Mr. Edge had started dating Pamela, and it appears that based on information we received that Grace was not accepting of the situation,” Toombs County Sheriff Jordan Kight told WTOC.
Grace was arrested shortly after the shooting. According to Sheriff Kight, she appeared to have driven directly from the scene to the sheriff’s office.
“We believe she had drove straight from the residence where this happened and drove straight here to the sheriff’s office,” Kight said.
The sheriff also revealed that the former couple had repeatedly contacted police over domestic disputes and other incidents involving one another.
Grace is facing seven charges in connection with the shooting, including two counts of malice murder, two counts of murder and three counts of aggravated assault.
She is being held at the Toombs County Detention Center while awaiting her first court appearance.
