You’ve justified my confidence in you, Tinubu hails EFCC for anti-graft efforts

President Bola Tinubu has praised the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for its anti-graft  efforts across the country.

Mr Tinubu gave the commendation during the inauguration of the anti-graft agency’s new zonal directorate in Awka, Anambra State, on Friday.

Mr Tinubu, represented at the event by the Speaker, House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, said, “Supporting the EFCC is not particularly difficult. The agency has consistently demonstrated that the confidence reposed in it is well founded.”

The president added, “Without mincing words, the evidential proof of the EFCC’s success speaks loudly in convictions secured, assets and properties recovered.”

It will educate stakeholders, build relationships and mobilise the people to own the fight against all forms of corrupt practices in the zone”, Mr Olukoyede noted.
