“You be yahoo boy, she no fit marry you” – Girlfriend’s mother rejects marriage after man sponsored daughter’s education

A man who sponsored his girlfriend’s education has been rejected for marriage by her mother due to being labelled a ‘yahoo boy.’

The couple had a committed relationship, with the man paying for his girlfriend’s university fees, buying her study materials, giving her monthly allowances, and even taking care of her mother and siblings.

However, when he approached the girl’s mother to discuss marriage, they refused, claiming that their daughter couldn’t marry someone involved in online fraud.

The man, whose identity remains unknown, showed great dedication by supporting his girlfriend’s education.

He covered her tuition fees, purchased her study materials, and gave her money every month to help with her expenses. Additionally, he went the extra mile by supporting her mother and siblings financially.

After his girlfriend completed her studies, the man decided to take the next step and talk to her mother about getting married.

Unfortunately, the family had concerns about his background as a “yahoo boy.” .
