Nigerian media personality Toke Makinwa made an interesting observation, saying that most modern men don’t dare to break up with women; instead, they frustrate their partners until they leave.
Speaking on Toke Moments, Makinwa revealed that she got married at 30 and divorced at 31. Reflecting on relationships, she said, “I got married at 30 and divorced at 31. I don’t even think men have the balls to break up with women these days; they frustrate you till you leave.”
She further disclosed that when men openly tell their partners a relationship is no longer working, some men may become distant or behave differently in ways that make their intentions clear.
“That’s their new tactics; they will frustrate you till you leave. A man will never sit you down and tell you it’s not working out, but everything about him tells you it’s not working out,” she said.
