A Nigerian man has shared a heartbreaking account of how his neighbour tragically lost his wife and two children in a road accident.
Identified as @lowestleo on X, the man revealed a heated argument between the couple preceded the tragic incident.
Man In Heartbroken Situation Over Wife, Children’s Passing
According to @lowestleo, the argument erupted over the wife’s lavish spending.
However, the situation escalated when she shouted at her husband, compared him to other men, and threatened to leave with their children.
”Isn’t it your mates that fund their wives’ lifestyles every day? If your salary is no longer enough to provide for me, please quit and look for a better-paying job, because me, I can’t manage oh. If not, I’ll leave with the children“, She stated.
Wife Informs Mother About Argument With Husband
Meanwhile, the wife informed her mother about the situation who urged her to return home with her children.
In a devastating turn of events, hours after the wife left with the children, the husband was informed they were involved in an accident and rushed to the hospital.
Upon arrival, a medical practitioner informed him that his children passed away. Eventually, his wife also gave up the ghost that day.
Meanwhile, the mother-in-law is holding her son-in-law responsible and lashing out at him over the death of her daughter and grandchildren.
Reflecting on the tragic incident, the X user stated, “I don’t know how to console him because this is a lot for one person to bear”.
