Tems Debuts The No.1 Spot On Pandora’s Predictions Chart; A Chart That Rates The Next Big Sound On Billboard

Nigerian Singer and Songwriter, Tems, has debuted the number one spot on the Pandora’s Predictions Chart, a chart published on Billboard as the Next Big Sound.

Tems’ spot is largely due to her feature on Wizkid’s ‘Essence,’ a chart-topping single off the ‘Made In Lagos’ album. Pandora Predictions Chart rates artistes by using artistes’ growth on social media and streaming to predict the twenty (20) artistes who are most likely to make their debut on the Billboard 200 Chart with the next year.

Tems became an international sensation after she released her hit single ‘Try Me.’ In the 2021 BET Awards, she was nominated for Best New International Act but lost, unfortunately. Before that, she had been nominated for three prestigious awards; The Headies, The Future Awards Africa and MTV Africa Music Awards. Even though she hasn’t won any prestigious awards yet, she has managed to play a reputable role in the music industry.

‘Essence’ by Wizkid featuring Tems is now occupying the number 74 spot on the UK Singles Chart. It debuted number 24 on UK Apple Music, 24 on US Urban Radio, and 72 on the YouTube US Weekly Top Songs.
