Stan Nze reacts to Peter Obi’s interview, urges Nigerians to get their PVCs ahead of 2027 elections

Nollywood actor Stan Nze has reacted emotionally to a recent interview featuring NDC presidential candidate, Peter Obi, saying it renewed his hope for a better Nigeria.

In a video shared on his Instagram page, Stan Nze admitted he was deeply moved after watching Obi speak about the challenges he has allegedly faced while trying to contribute to Nigeria’s development.

According to the actor, no one should have to endure such experiences simply for wanting to improve the country.

“I saw this video yesterday and it really broke me. It did things to me that I cannot even express. No one should be made to go through these things simply because they want to lead and see Nigeria become better,” he said.

Stan Nze stressed that his desire for good governance goes beyond political parties or tribal sentiments, insisting Nigeria needs leaders who genuinely care about the people.

He recalled supporting former presidential aspirant Fela Durotoye because of his vision, adding that he now sees similar qualities in Peter Obi.

The actor also noted that insecurity, flooding and kidnapping affect every Nigerian regardless of ethnicity, urging citizens to focus on competence rather than tribe.

Calling on Nigerians to participate in future elections, he encouraged eligible voters to ensure their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) are ready.

“This is not a tribal war. This is a call for genuine change. If you need to move your PVC somewhere closer to you, please do it,” he added.

His remarks have generated reactions online, with many Nigerians sharing their views on leadership, governance and the country’s political future.
