Sony Music US Wishes Wizkid A “25th” Happy Birthday; People Are Not Having It

Renowned global music company, Sony Music, has wished Nigerian Grammy award-winner a happy birthday as he turns”25 years” old. Even though he looks very young and ‘smallish,’ he is way older than the age assumed by the organization. So many music lovers and fans of Wizkid took to social media today to celebrate the ‘Made In Lagos’ hitmaker as he turns thirty-one (31) years old.

Sarcastically, Wizkid has been signed to Sony Music for a couple of years now, being one of the first African artistes to sign to the label. He is the most streamed African artistes on several music streaming platforms like Apple Music, Spotify, and more; with a little over 5 million monthly streams on Spotify. He became one of the first Nigerian Grammy Award winners, alongside his compatriot, Burna Boy at the recently held Grammy Awards ceremony. His ‘Made In Lagos’ album is also the most-streamed album by an African artiste across all platforms.
