“Something no clear here” — Lady recounts how friend ended relationship with millionaire ex after strange setbacks

A woman has recounted how her friend ended a rekindled relationship with her wealthy ex-boyfriend after a series of unexpected setbacks repeatedly stopped her from travelling to see him in Abuja.

According to the woman, her friend reconnected with her ex after 10 years when they unexpectedly met at an event. The man, whom she described as a multi-millionaire, had relocated from Lagos to Abuja late last year.

She said the man began calling her frequently, sending gifts and asking her to return to the relationship. He also reportedly told her that he wanted them to have a baby, and she agreed to give the relationship another chance.

The pair had reportedly been together for three months, although they had only met physically once since reconnecting.

Repeated setbacks raised concerns

The woman said her friend was scheduled to spend a week with the man last month and had already packed her bags when she suddenly started menstruating, despite having completed her period about a week earlier.

She contacted the man, who reportedly told her not to come and subsequently sent more gifts and flowers.

When she later tried to reschedule the visit, she developed a boil in her private area. Another planned trip was reportedly cancelled after she developed another boil.

The friend then became suspicious about the repeated incidents and discussed her concerns with the woman, who advised her to listen to her instincts.

Friend blocks ex and returns to single life

The woman said her friend ultimately blocked the man on social media and returned to her single life, despite his wealth and previous efforts to rekindle their relationship.

She recounted the experience while urging people not to ignore their instincts when situations repeatedly make them uncomfortable.

The story has generated interest because of the unusual chain of events that preceded the woman’s decision to end the relationship, although no evidence was provided to establish that the man had any harmful intentions.
