Guests were thrown into panic after a POP ceiling suddenly collapsed during a wedding reception in Warri.
A video circulating online captured the moment the ceiling gave way, sending debris crashing into the reception venue and causing attendees to scramble for safety.
The incident abruptly interrupted the celebration as guests fled the affected area to avoid being struck by falling materials.
As of the time of reporting, there has been no official confirmation regarding the cause of the collapse or whether anyone sustained injuries. Authorities are yet to release a statement on the incident.
The footage has since stirred reactions on social media, with many Nigerians expressing concern about building safety standards and calling for stricter compliance with construction and maintenance regulations for event venues.
