Amid controversy, an unidentified Nigerian man praised Tony Elumelu for swiftly correcting a lady who addressed him by his first name.
Moreover, the response left him impressed.
According to the man, who admitted to watching the video repeatedly, he wondered what prompted the lady’s action at the event.
”What was going through your mind?. You had an opportunity. In the midst over 200 people that would mind that he could even see them. As you held your mic, instead of showcasing your intelligence, you thought it call him by his name“, He said.
