A Nigerian lady identified as @BrianEtimb98532 on X, (formerly Twitter), has detailed a heartbreaking account of her neighbour who arrived from Dubai.
According to the X user, it was her neighbour’s routine to shower the neighbourhood with chocolates and gifts on every return to Nigeria.
Lady’s Heartbreaking Account
However, his recent return to Nigeria after eight months appeared unusual, as he was brought in by individuals believed to be his relatives.
Following his return, he hasn’t been seen outside, which has left her worried.
“He was brought home by people who appeared to be his family, which was unusual. Since his return, he hadn’t stepped outside. I was worried, but I assumed he probably needed some privacy”, She added.
Lady Seeks Clarity On Neigbour’s Condition
Eventually, she summoned the courage to knock on her neighbor’s door and was who let her in by his brother.
After entering, she requested to see him, but her request was declined. Moreover, she was heartbroken after finding out about her neighbor’s condition.
Meanwhile, her neighbor is battling severe depression and has attempted suicide.
Although he requested to be brought home two months earlier, his request wasn’t approved.
“I was devastated..I keep wondering what must have made him depressed while on board“, The tweet reads in part.
