“Na God save me that day” — Lady shares what happened after woman hugged military lecturer during class

A lady has gone viral after sharing how a military officer who lectured at her university was unexpectedly interrupted during one of his classes by a young woman, leading to an awkward moment that later resurfaced on TikTok.

According to the former student, the officer was known for repeatedly scolding female students at the start of every lecture instead of focusing on teaching.

She claimed he often spent most of the two-hour class criticising their dressing, relationships and lifestyle before rushing through the academic content.

The lady explained that attendance was compulsory because the lecturer always conducted head counts, making it difficult for students to skip the sessions despite the lengthy lectures.

Surprise interruption during lecture

Recounting the incident, the lady said the officer was delivering one of his usual speeches when an unexpected visitor walked into the classroom.

The lady said, “One day, he was in the middle of his usual sermon when this young lady catwalked into the class and hugged him so tightly. Ha! There was an uproar! ‘Zaddy, I’ve missed you. I couldn’t wait!’ Immediately, my course rep shouted, ‘Man of God, sir! Good afternoon, oh, weldon…sorry sir!’ The man gave him the wickedest look, then quietly told the lady, ‘Wait for me in the car.’ He turned back to face the class. By then, some students were already stylishly recording the whole scene. Without saying another word, he picked up his marker and wrote on the board: TEST!! Na God save me that day because I know book small”

Story sparks reactions online

The account has attracted widespread reactions on social media, with many users expressing amusement over the unexpected classroom encounter.

Others criticised the lecturer’s conduct, arguing that educators should prioritise teaching over giving personal lectures unrelated to the course.
