Nigeria is being represented on the global stage by 26-year-old beauty queen Tamunosoye Karibi-George, who has arrived in Vietnam to participate in the 73rd Miss World competition.

Karibi-George is among contestants from different countries who have gathered in Vietnam for a series of activities, challenges and pageant events ahead of the grand finale.
Tamunosoye Karibi-George is a 26-year-old Nigerian from Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
She emerged as the winner of the Miss World Nigeria competition after defeating 20 other finalists at the grand event held at the Balmoral Hall of the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos.
Although she is a native of Rivers State, Karibi-George represented Bayelsa State during the Miss World Nigeria competition.
Following her victory, she earned the opportunity to represent Nigeria at the international Miss World competition in Vietnam.
Karibi-George completed her secondary education at Obiye High School and Obiye Academy before proceeding to Madonna University, Okija, for her tertiary education.
She is also an associate of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, adding professional development to her growing profile.
Karibi-George has now joined contestants from around the world in Vietnam, where they are taking part in various activities and challenges as they compete for the Miss World crown.
Her participation marks another opportunity for Nigeria to showcase its culture, talent and beauty on the international pageant stage.
