Wilson spoke with Vogue after the wedding about the significant location, her unique gown, and the emotional moment she walked down the aisle.

The couple exchanged vows on a cobblestone ledge beside a waterfall in Ruskin Cave in Tennessee, which provided a picturesque backdrop for the celebration.

According to Wilson, the natural setting made the day feel both tranquil and very personal.

“You could hear the water trickling down and birds singing, and we had a nice spring breeze,” Wilson told the source.

She also revealed that she arrived in a white horse-drawn carriage before heading down the aisle to meet Hodges at the altar with her father, whom she affectionately refers to as “Deddy”.

The Cute Way the Couple Found the Property

Wilson revealed that she and Hodges discovered the spot while driving along Tennessee’s backroads.

After seeing a billboard advertising the Ruskin Cave in Dickson, the two decided to stop and look.

“Duck and I were driving backroads in Tennessee and saw a billboard for The Ruskin Cave,” Wilson said. “Duck said, ‘You wanna get married there?’ I said, ‘Done deal.’”

After inspecting the property, the couple fell in love with the stunning cave and its basic, natural beauty, and chose to begin their new life together there.

Wilson, known for her unique denim bell-bottoms and country glam style, believed her wedding gown should reflect her personality.

The singer collaborated with stylist Alexandra Mandelkorn and the Oscar de la Renta team to design a personalized bridal look with meaningful elements throughout.

The gown had exquisite Japanese cherry blossoms around the neckline and sprinkled throughout the pattern.

For Wilson, the flowers represented embracing the present moment, which she felt echoed the atmosphere of their wedding.

The cherry blossom represents living in the moment, and that’s exactly what we did,” Wilson said.

The bride also expressed how emotional it was to see Hodges waiting for her.

“I have never seen Duck smile as big as he did then,” she replied. “It made me excited to begin this new chapter of our marriage. We were both eager to say, ‘I do!’”

Fans have expressed their excitement for the couple.

Following the release of wedding images, fans and fellow country artists swarmed social media with congrats.

Bailey Zimmerman, a country musician, praised the news, adding, “THIS IS WHAT LIFE IS ABOUT.”

Others applauded the duo, describing them as “the most gorgeous bride & groom” and “the most gorgeous couple.”

Wilson announced their engagement in February 2025, posting romantic photographs and videos on Instagram with the phrase “4x4xU forever ❤️,” referring to her song “4x4xU” from her album “Whirlwind.”
