Speaking through their counsel, Barr. Abubakar Abdullahi, members of the community said they have continued to experience intimidation and harassment from the Nigerian Army.

They described the ongoing actions as unnecessary pressure on residents who are already seeking legal redress.

According to Abdullahi, the case is currently before the court, and all parties should allow the judicial process to run its course without interference.

He argued that continued harassment undermines both the rule of law and the rights of citizens to pursue justice peacefully.

The community is now calling on relevant authorities to intervene and ensure that security operatives refrain from any actions that could prejudice the matter or intimidate those involved. They stressed that respect for due process is essential for maintaining public trust.
