The General Overseer of Christian Evangelical Fellowship of Nations (CEFN), Reverned Dr. Malacai Ogakwu has said God blesses people to manifest His glory before men.
Dr. Ogakwu who made the assertion at the 2026 Annual International Convention of CEFN at the church’s Headquarters in Anyingba, Kogi State, Nigeria said Al blessings comes from God Who gives to people according to His riches in glory.
Speaking on the 2026 theme, “The Open Door That No Man Can Shut”, Dr. Ogakwu challnaged Christians to have the descerning spirt to ask themselves why are they being blessed of God?
“When doors begin to open for you, the first question that should ordinarily cross your mind be why do God open these doors to me”.
While noting that God open doors for you to make His name known, Rev. Dr. Ogakwu said with such blessings, people will see the glory of God manifesting through you to others.
“You are created in Christ for good works. To manifest God’s purposes. Therefore, wherever you find yourselves, is for you to do the good works endowed in you by God so that people will see the goodness of our God”. Dr. Ogakwu charged Christians.
Continuing, the respected General Overseer said, some Chirstians are too stingy even to God that gave them the wealth, adding, one cannot fulfil the purpose of God when he or she is not ready to sacrifice for God.
Rev. Dr. Ogakwu further admonished Christians to strive and know the reason why they called saying until you know that, you cannot fulfil God’s purpose even if you are in the Chirstiandom.
“You are created in Christ for good works. To manifest God’s purposes. Therefore it is important that wherever you find yourselves you strive to do the good works endowed in you by God.
“As a teacher, Doctor, Nurse, an Administrator, Pastor, Mechanic, Engineer or whatever profession you are into, you should genuinely ask yourselves if you are you truly fulfilling God’s purpose with the profession.
“Don’t say because you are a messanger, you don’t matter, you will give account of your works. Every human being will give account of their stewardship.
“As a farmer, God has blessed you with good harvest, ask yourself, if you use the harvest to help the poor, the window and orphans”
Expantiating on why God blesses people, Rev. Dr. Ogakwu said,
God also open doors to make His name known, decrying however that for others, rather than using their open doors for God’s glory, such open doors pushes some into sin.
“In that office, in that position you occupy, what will be the testimony of people around you? God will want to come inn to work through you when doors are open to you. But the question is how many times have you pushed people away from God despite
God opens door to you for His name to be known.
“God open doors for to demonstrate His faithfulness. God have His reasons for opening doors and the reason is that He want you to be a manager of God’s people.
“In open doors, your faithfulness will have to be seen by men so that they can destinguished between the God you serve hence God open doors for you to accomplish that which He want to be done on earth as the spirit of God cannot come physically in human form. That is why God open doors for you to use you as a vessel to accomplish that which He wants”.
Talking on expected oppositions to open doors, Rev. Dr. Ohakwu named them to include, Fear and Discouragement, Human Opposition, Spiritual Opposition, Limited Resources and well as Delay.
The General Overseer, therefore tasked Christians not to
allow themselves to become an instrument in the hand of the devil, adding, sometimes, the devil uses Christians against believers.
“If you make yourself available, Satan will use you to falsely label men of God, thereby you stand against the progress of God.
“Spiritual warfare will surely come because sometimes God allows it as a springboard that will push you to a higher realm.
“That is why when the devil uses human resources, fears and opposition, spiritual forces and limited resources and it all fails, the devil then moves to delay
“But the good news is that, sometimes, certain delays in your life is for good as God is using that to package the end result for greatness in you. During the period of delay, God will be preparing you for a reason amongst which include to take away pride of self glory from you”.
Dr. Ogakwu also noted that Open Doors requires qualities such as developing your faith, remaining steadfast in obedience to God’s word, as well as preparing yourself for the unexpected and having patience and humility to sustain the open doors.
