Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has charged 27 newly appointed and reappointed Special Advisers to maintain absolute loyalty, commitment, and steadfastness in the discharge of their official duties.
The governor issued the directive during the swearing-in ceremony held at the 41st Executive Council Meeting. He urged the aides to support his administration’s objectives under the state’s development framework and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to the government, the cohort comprises 21 newly inducted advisers selected on merit and proven track records, alongside six reappointed officials. The six returnees previously resigned to pursue political ambitions and were reinstated based on their past contributions and performance.
The reappointed officials include Hon. Gambo Sallau, Musa Ado Tsamiya, Dr. Danyaro Yakasai, Usman Bala Muhammad, Danladi Karfi, and Umar Musa Gama.
The newly inducted team features figures such as Bello Nuhu Bello, Yahuza Adamu Yankaba, Ahmad Muhammad Aruwa, Buhari Sule Kura, Mustapha Buhari Bakwana, Hajiya Aisha Tamburawa, Abdulkadir Auwalu, Alawiyya Farouk, and Ibrahim Hamisu Rimi.
Other new appointees sworn in include Ahmad Tijani Musa, Nasir Abdullahi Karaye, Mustapha Abdullahi Rabiu, Engr. Abdullahi Kutama, Hon. Ado Rabiu, Barr. Munir Dahiru Rimin Gado, Engr. Magaji Lambu, Muhammad Bashir Baffa, Auwalu Ibrahim Danzabuwa, Bello Lawan Bello, Abdulsamiu Tiamiu, and Arc. Hauwa Hassan.
Speaking on behalf of the newly sworn-in aides, Engr. Kutama and Arc. Hassan pledged total dedication to the governor’s vision for the state.
The ceremony was attended by prominent dignitaries, including former Deputy Governor Abdullahi Gwarzo and former Secretary to the State Government Rabiu Sulaiman Bichi.
