Iyabo Ojo, a Nollywood actress, says her youthful looks come from a satisfying sex life and a mature relationship, not from being married.
The 48-year-old actress made this known during her appearance on The Morayo Show, hosted by Morayo Afolabi-Brown, where she rejected the idea that a woman’s glow depends on whether she is single or married.
“We (single mothers) are happy. I think some married women are happy too. I don’t think it’s about being single or being married,” she said.
“I think it’s about the person that you’re with. Sex has a lot to do with a woman’s glow. I’m getting more than enough. Maybe those with marriage certificates aren’t getting enough.”
The actress also spoke about her relationship with talent manager Paulo Okoye, describing their relationship as one built on maturity, respect and mutual understanding.
Ojo said despite being busy with their individual careers, they make their relationship work by supporting each other.
“We’re two mature people and two very busy people, but the most important thing is to understand each other, to support each other, to be there for each other,” she said.
“We fight. We have our ups and downs. It’s normal, but the most important thing is that we respect each other. We respect our space and what we do, and we just move on with that.”
