The ceremony was held in honour of the late police chief’s enduring service to the Nigeria Police Force and his contributions to national policing and institutional reforms.
Among those present were Deputy Inspector-General of Police (Rtd.) Jonathan Towuru, Commissioner of Police (Rtd.) Fatai Owoseni, and Commissioner of Police Bolo Etete, alongside other senior officers, family members, and close associates who gathered to pay tribute to the late IGP.
The event provided an opportunity for reflection on Arase’s professional legacy, particularly his impact on policing reforms and his role in strengthening the operational and institutional framework of law enforcement in Nigeria.
