The initiative, known as the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV), will be implemented in all State Police Commands nationwide.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Sunday by the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Anietie Okokon Edem Iniedu.
According to the statement, the campaign is designed to combat cultism, drug abuse, violent crime and other social vices through grassroots awareness, early intervention and active community participation.
The police explained that the programme will bring together schools, local communities, religious organisations and other critical stakeholders to encourage positive values, shield young people from criminal influences and strengthen preventive policing efforts across the country.
