“I want to relocate to Nigeria; I hear the economy is booming” — Moroccan businessman tells Reno Omokri

Former presidential aide Reno Omokri has shared a video showing his conversation with a Moroccan businessman who expressed his desire to relocate to Nigeria in search of better business opportunities.

The exchange, which took place outside Mohammed V Airport in Morocco, has since gone viral on social media, sparking mixed reactions from Nigerians.

Speaking during the conversation, the businessman said, “I said the police are changed completely but I’m looking for better life, do some business in Nigeria, inshallah.”

When Reno Omokri asked if he truly wanted to move to Nigeria, the man replied, “Why not? I will be with our brothers.”

Reno Omokri promotes Nigeria’s economy

During the discussion, Omokri highlighted what he described as Nigeria’s growing economic prospects, pointing to the country’s manufacturing sector and the impact of the Dangote Refinery.

He said, “In Nigeria we have the second largest manufacturing base in Africa, $55 billion dollars. Only Egypt has more than us… So in Nigeria business is good. If you come with your capital, you do business in Nigeria, you will love it.”

Omokri also praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic reforms, claiming the country’s economy had expanded significantly in the past two years and encouraging the businessman to invest in Nigeria.
