A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to advise young ladies to get married, claiming that many women of the younger generation are now avoiding marriage because they do not want to experience the challenges faced by women in the past. Get the latest updates on our WhatsApp channel.
In a video shared on TikTok, the woman suggested that some young women are afraid of marriage because they may not be willing to endure the difficulties that previous generations of women experienced in their marriages.
She jokingly said that women who refuse to get married should be matched with men, insisting that every woman should experience marriage.
She said in part: “Everybody must experience what she passed through, girls of nowadays i heard that you people are running away from marriage as from today any girl that is supposed to marry and she refused to marry we would all gather and give her one man to marry…… there are running away not to experience what she passed through na lie”
