“Go back to where you’re coming from”— Husband locks wife out of their house

A woman has shared her emotional experience after leaving her matrimonial home following a dispute, only to return weeks later and find herself locked out by her husband.

The woman, who narrated her story from her perspective, said the incident happened after a disagreement forced her to temporarily relocate to her mother’s house, expecting reconciliation.

She leaves after heated argument

According to her, the issue between her and her husband escalated one evening, leading to tension in the home. The next morning, after he left for work, she packed some of her belongings and left for her mother’s place, believing space would help resolve things.

She explained that although she expected her husband to reach out, days turned into weeks without any communication. The silence, she said, became unbearable and prompted her return.

I left because I needed peace and thought he would call me so we could talk. I didn’t think it would get this far,” she said.

Return met with shock and rejection

Upon returning, she discovered that the locks to both the gate and the main house had been changed. Shocked, she called her husband to gain access, but he refused.

He told me to go back to where I was coming from and said he was no longer interested in the marriage. That moment broke me,” she added.

Relationship experts note that similar cases have occurred in the past, where unresolved conflicts and lack of communication have led to abrupt marital breakdowns.
