An officer of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Police Command has been recognised for exemplary service during traffic duties in Abuja.
Inspector Hudu Isa, attached to the Mabushi Division and deployed for traffic control at Next Cash and Carry Junction, received an Award of Recognition on 26th August, 2026 from the National Defence College, Abuja, for his dedication, commitment to duty and service.
The award was presented in recognition of Inspector Isa’s consistent professionalism in managing traffic at one of the FCT’s busy intersections.
The Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, CP Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, commended the officer for his conduct.
He noted that the recognition reflects the positive impact of Inspector Isa’s service on both motorists and the general public.
CP Sanusi charged the officer to see the award as “a call to greater responsibility, professionalism and renewed commitment to duty.”
He also urged other personnel of the Command to emulate the virtues of diligence, professionalism and selfless service.
According to him, “excellence in policing is built through consistent dedication to duty.”
The FCT Police Command said it will continue to reward officers who distinguish themselves in the line of duty.
The statement announcing the award was signed by the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, on 14th September, 2026.
The Command added that such recognitions are aimed at boosting morale and encouraging better service delivery across the FCT.
