The governorship candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in Abia State, Doris Ogala, has reacted strongly after a lady identified as Goldilocks criticised her political ambition and questioned whether Abia residents could trust her with their votes.
Taking to her Instagram page in a video response, Ogala said she would ordinarily have ignored the comments but decided to speak because the lady allegedly went too far by bringing up her failed marriage.
“I came across a video by a lady named Goldilocks. Ordinarily, I would have ignored you, but you went too far. I don’t know how much they paid you to tarnish my image,” she said.
The AAC governorship candidate accused the lady of attempting to damage her reputation, insisting that she knows nothing about the challenges she faced in her marriage.
Ogala also claimed that the incumbent governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, feels threatened by her governorship ambition, adding that she believes she has a divine mandate to become the state’s next governor.
“Even the incumbent governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, feels threatened because God has already said I will be the governor of Abia State.
Going after my failed marriage is what I will not tolerate. You know nothing about my marriage, and let me tell you, as a woman, you can’t even survive one inch of what I survived in that marriage,” she added.
She warned against using her failed marriage as a basis to attack her, saying only she truly understands what she endured during that period.
Ogala maintained that she remains focused on serving the people of Abia State and will not allow criticism to distract her from her governorship ambition.
