A woman has shared an emotional video alleging that she was physically assaulted by her husband following a disagreement over ₦18,000 that had been set aside for food.
The video, which was shared on X, showed the woman recounting the incident as she claimed her husband attacked her after discovering that she had used the money to prepare meals for the family.

According to her, the ₦18,000 had been kept to provide food for the household, and she used it to cook for three days before the argument broke out.
Speaking in Pidgin, she said:
“I no do anything, no be the money wey he keep for us make we take dey chop, I cook for 3 days for inside the money.”
The woman alleged that despite using the money for its intended purpose, her husband became angry and beat her severely.
