c for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, and former Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The association made its position known at an event held at the Children Amusement Park in Lokoja, where it unveiled campaign materials, including banners, T-shirts, face caps, and posters bearing the images of the three political leaders.
The event attracted hundreds of members of the association from Lokoja and other parts of Kogi Central.
The materials were unveiled by the Kogi State Auditor-General for Local Government and Chairman of the Forum of Auditors-General of Local Government Councils in Nigeria, Hon. Siyaka Yakubu Adabenege, popularly known as Fancy.
Speaking at the event, Adabenege commended the leadership and members of the association for what he described as a demonstration of political support.
He said the initiative showed that the women had taken a position in support of the Tinubu and Ododo administrations, as well as Bello’s aspiration to represent Kogi Central in the Senate.

“I commend the leadership of the Ebira Vonya Women Association for this show of love and solidarity. This is a clear demonstration that Ebira people know where they stand. We are standing with President Tinubu, we are standing with Governor Ododo, and we are standing with our supreme leader, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello,” he said.
Adabenege also described the former governor as an important political figure in Kogi State, saying his supporters were backing his bid to represent Kogi Central in the Senate.
In her remarks, the president of the association, Hajiya Rukayat Ajoge, said the decision to support Bello was deliberate, describing him as a major political figure among the Ebira people.
“Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello is our supreme leader, our political father, and our senatorial candidate under the platform of APC. We cannot talk about 2027 without talking about him. We are assuring him that the Ebira Vonya Women Association is fully behind his ambition to represent Kogi Central in the Senate,” she said.
Ajoge said the association believed Bello’s experience as a two-term governor and his relationship with the federal government could help attract further development to Kogi Central if he is elected.
She also linked the association’s support for Tinubu, Ododo, and Bello to what she described as a desire for continuity and stability in the state.
The event featured traditional Ebira songs and cultural dances, while members displayed campaign materials and chanted solidarity songs in support of the All Progressives Congress.
The association also offered prayers for Tinubu, Ododo, and Bello and urged Ebira sons and daughters to maintain unity as political activities ahead of the 2027 elections gather momentum.
