These “love jihad” incidents stem from supremacist assumptions. Muslim women are forbidden to marry non-Muslim men: “Do not marry idolatresses until they believe, for indeed, a believing slave woman is better than an idolatress, even though she pleases you. And do not give your daughters in marriage to idolaters until they believe, for indeed, a believing slave is better than an idolater, even though he pleases you. These people invite you to the fire, and Allah invites you to the garden, and to forgiveness by his grace, and explains his signs to mankind so that perhaps they will remember.” (Qur’an 2:221)

A Hindu girl was raped and pressurized to convert to Islam by one Firdaus Khan. Both the girl and the accused are residents of Titgaon village of Khandwa district, MP. Khan had been stalking the 18-year-old girl for an year, i.e. since she was a minor.
On June 30, he met her at a handpump near her house and asked her to run away with him. He then threatened and intimidated her. On July 1, he asked her to come meet him else he would kill her family. The frightened girl met him and he took her to Khandwa station. He took her to Jabalpur to his maternal uncle’s home.
They stayed there for 4 days, and during this period he raped her. Then he started putting pressure on her to convert to Islam. After this, he took her to Bhopal railway station and they stayed for 4 days in and around the station. From there, he took her to Burhanpur, then Nepanagar, and finally to Adarsh Nagar area of Khandwa city….
