The X user shared that before they got married, they agreed to be equal partners and share a joint bank account.
Meanwhile, her mother-in-law urgently requested her son for ₦200,000.
Subsequently, her husband instructed her to transfer the money to his mother from their joint account, which she declined.
“Not because I hate his mother. I actually like her. But ₦200k from our joint account without even knowing what the business is?”, She stated, recounting the incident.

The following day, her sister-in-law called her, but she hung up, after which her mother-in-law reached out to her, leaving her nearly overwhelmed.
Days later, her husband informed her that he had sent the money to his mother from his personal bank account.
Meanwhile, unaware of her husband’s personal bank account, she sought clarity from netizens about her decision.
” I have a personal rule about not accepting the bare minimum when it comes to honesty, and discovering a secret account feels like a total breach of that”, She added.
