Markert met the Jersey Shore star, DJ Pauly D in Las Vegas sometime in mid-2012. It was at a club, a Rehab pool party at the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas where the latter was performing as a DJ.

Right after meeting the MTV star, Markert reportedly posted a couple of tweets mentioning her meet-up with Pauly D. Shortly after getting to know each other, the two got drunk and went on to conceive a child. Markert gave birth to her daughter, Amabella Sophia Markert with Pauly D on May 15, 2013.

Sources, at the time reported, that one night in Vegas was “the only time they’ve ever been together.” After their hookup, Markert allegedly left town in the morning.

The court battle was mostly due to Markert asking for child support from DelVecchio but not wanting him to have any custody rights.

She stated her baby father, Pauly D never wanted a child. He allegedly had suggested she have an abortion. According to Amanda, she had screenshots of some incriminating text messages from the G-Unit Records musician that asked her to terminate her pregnancy. Markert, however, didn’t concur.

On Twitter, she wrote, that Pauly D didn’t support her financially when she was bearing his child except for the money that he gave her but it was rather for abortion. Markert, however, used that money for prenatal care.

She also stated it was all her that was paying for the doctors’ appointments.

All these allegations consequently made Pauly D fight against Markert for the full custody of their daughter as he also reasoned that his baby mother having worked at Hooters was deemed unfit for raising Amabella.

He additionally accused his baby mother of abusing their daughter for fame and fortune. Pauly further alleged that he had Markert’s assurance that she was on birth control the first time they hooked up, according to Hollywood Life.

Markert Lied To Her Ex-Boyfriend By Telling Him Her Daughter With Pauly D Was Rather His Child 

In Oct 2013, Radar Online reported Amanda had lied to one of her ex-partners, Donn Barbitta, telling him that the child she had from her one-night stand with Pauly D was actually his.

Apparently, Donn and Markert were living in Egg Harbor, NJ when the latter said her daughter Amabella was his daughter. Amanda’s daughter at the time was five months old.

However, the paternity test of Pauly D proved that it was all lie, and Don after knowing this promptly broke up with Markert.

This move from Markert allegedly was also the reason why Pauly D never initiated a relationship with his baby mother as earlier it was reported that he was looking ahead to have some sort of association with Amanda.

Markert is now married to Dan Frazier. The couple celebrated their wedding on May 1, 2021. According to some sources, Frazier and the reality star’s baby mother got engaged on Sep 25, 2020.
