Under Chris Wilder’s management, Sheffield United has already set a record for the most goals conceded in a 38-game Premier League season, tallying up to 97. They are on track to surpass Swindon Town’s record of 100 goals conceded in the 1994-95 season, when the league comprised 22 teams.

Although they’ve already surpassed the ignominious record for the lowest points tally in Premier League history, currently held by Derby County with 11 points in the 2007-08 season, Sheffield United may further cement their struggle if they fail to secure points in their remaining three fixtures, potentially ranking third for the fewest points accumulated in a 38-game season.
