“This Album Won’t Make Itself” – Singer, Simi Opens Up On Work Life

Award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter, Simisola Kosoko simply called Simi has revealed that she is working on a new album whilst nursing her baby at the same time.

Opening up on how she balances her work and mother duties, the ‘duduke’ hitmaker disclosed that she loves to work at night as it the time she gets more inspiration to write her songs.

However, she said that although her daughter always wants to sleep in her arms, that is not going to stop her from making her album as the album won’t make itself.

Sharing a photo of her baby lying on her laps whilst working with her computer on her Instagram story, she captioned;

‘she only wanna sleep in momma’s arms, but the juices flow at night and we gotta make it work, because this album won’t itself’.
