Hadiths that Muslims consider authentic record that Muhammad’s favorite wife, Aisha, was six when Muhammad wedded her and nine when he consummated the marriage:
“The Prophet wrote the (marriage contract) with Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death)” (Bukhari 7.62.88).
Another tradition has Aisha herself recount the scene:
The Prophet engaged me when I was a girl of six (years). We went to Medina and stayed at the home of Bani-al-Harith bin Khazraj. Then I got ill and my hair fell down. Later on my hair grew (again) and my mother, Um Ruman, came to me while I was playing in a swing with some of my girl friends. She called me, and I went to her, not knowing what she wanted to do to me. She caught me by the hand and made me stand at the door of the house. I was breathless then, and when my breathing became all right, she took some water and rubbed my face and head with it. Then she took me into the house. There in the house I saw some Ansari women who said, “Best wishes and Allah’s Blessing and a good luck.” Then she entrusted me to them and they prepared me (for the marriage). Unexpectedly Allah’s Apostle came to me in the forenoon and my mother handed me over to him, and at that time I was a girl of nine years of age. (Bukhari 5.58.234).
Muhammad was at this time fifty-four years old.
Is Switzerland, and all of Europe, going to continue to act as if this normative Islamic behavior is criminal? Or will it ultimately give way to charges of “Islamophobia” and allow child marriage? The smart money is on the latter.

The Lucerne Criminal Court convicted a man of sexual acts with a child. He gave the parents of a 14-year-old girl money to marry the child. During the engagement period there were intimate contacts.
It was the young woman herself who reported the now 30-year-old Afghan. She met him in December 2018 at the Coop City in Baden. The meeting was arranged. The man had already handed the parents money and asked for their daughter’s hand before she even saw him.
The engagement was decided at the very first meeting. After that, more meetings took place. The Afghan claims that the girl is already 18 years old. In fact, she was 14. After three months, the right age came out.
Ignorance does not protect one from punishment
According to the indictment, she then ended the relationship, “although there was love on the part of the private plaintiff at the beginning.” The engagement was eventually broken off by both parties.During the relationship, the two kissed several times. It is proven by photographs that there was a French kiss on Valentine’s Day 2019. The man has now been sentenced to a conditional fine of 120 daily rates of CHF 100 for sexual acts with a child. The 12,000 francs are due within two years in the event of a repeat offense.
