Sowore blasts Tinubu over insecurity after Oyo school attack

Human rights activist and former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has again criticised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the country’s security situation following reports surrounding the killing of a teacher abducted during a school attack in Oyo State.

The remarks were contained in a statement posted on Sowore’s official page.

Sowore referenced comments he made during the 2023 election period, where he said he warned Nigerians about the possible consequences of Tinubu’s administration.

“During the 2023 election season, I went on Agidigbo FM 88.7, warning Nigerians and particularly Yorubas about the disaster Bola Ahmed Tinubu would bring upon the country. Sadly, many refused to listen.

“I was also on Miliki 101.3FM in Lagos, saying the same thing, but callers kept phoning in telling me to shut up.

“Now look at what ‘Emilokan’ has done to you all. Tinubu is a disaster!

“NB: The photo here is reportedly that of the mathematics teacher pleading for his life after bandits raided a secondary school in Oyo State and abducted several others before later beheading him,” Sowore stated.
