Rivers elders kick against Wike; beg Tinubu to appoint Sen. Abe as minister

The Coalition of Rivers State Leaders of Thoughts has called on President Bola Tinubu to appoint Sen. Magnus Abe as member of his cabinet.

This was contained in a statement jointly signed by the Convener of the coalition, Chief Sunnie Chukumele, and Secretary, Mr Josiah Onoriode, on Saturday in Abuja.

The organisation was made up of thought leaders, elders, and opinion shapers from different backgrounds in Rivers who share the same goal and reflect knowledgeable and enlightened viewpoints on pertinent problems that have an impact on the state. According to p.m news.

We devote our voices and support to issues based on belief, the group said in a statement. We also serve as trailblazers, creating agendas, providing input, disseminating, and promoting good governance.

We have seen that Senator Magnus Ngei Abe has been questionably ignored or disregarded in the political movement in the Presidential Villa.

“We want it stated clearly that Sen. Abe was the sole architect of the political infrastructure in Rivers State that promoted Tinubu’s presidential aspirations. People in the state who backed PDP castigated and demonised him.
