Presley Gerber, model and actress Cindy Crawford’s only son, died at the age of 27, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Details are still restricted. According to the medical examiner’s website, Gerber died on Sunday at a rehabilitation center.
An autopsy has yet to be completed, and the actual cause and manner of death are unknown.
“The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time,” a spokeswoman for Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber, told TMZ.
Like his mother, Gerber worked as a model. In January 2019, he was arrested for DUI after being pulled over while driving a Tesla in Beverly Hills about 4 a.m.
He was sentenced to three years’ probation, DUI treatment, and two days of community service, according to TMZ.

“When something like that happens in a family, it kind of levels everyone,” she explained to the site. “I believe this is also why I began to identify as the easy one and avoided seeking assistance. Because it felt like too much to have two children in need.”
She expressed pride in him after he publicly shared his troubles in an Instagram video in December, adding that he believed a person could hide from the world, even in a family that fought hard to be incredibly quiet.
Presley is survived by his mother, father, and younger sister.
