A Nigerian lady has sparked reactions online after sharing her experience with a man who appeared interested in her during a church service.
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), she explained that the man sat beside her and kept looking at her, giving her the impression that he wanted to approach her.
She recounted the encounter, saying:
“I was in church today, and there was this guy sitting beside me. He was just looking at me and giving me this vibe, like, ‘I want to talk to this girl.’ I was cool. I didn’t even tell this guy anything.”
She noted that she remained calm and did not make any attempt to engage the man despite noticing his interest.
According to her, the man appeared to have plans to approach her after the service, but she also noticed that he did not make any attempt to pay for her offering when it was time to give.
“It was time for offering. This guy did not make any attempt to pay for my offering. After the church, this guy had it in mind to ask for my number,” she added.
Her experience has sparked reactions online, with some social media users debating whether paying someone’s offering should be considered a gesture of interest or generosity.
The story has also generated conversations about the expectations people sometimes have when someone shows romantic interest in them.
