Omah Lay Reveals Why His Songs Last For Two Minutes And Some Seconds

Popular Nigerian Afrobeat Artiste, Omah Lay, has revealed the reason why his songs are normally not lengthy. In a Twitter conversation he had with his fans, he answered a fan who asked him why his songs have such a short duration.

”I don’t like stress,” the ‘Godly’ hitmaker told the fan. It has been observed that most of Omah Lay’s songs are a little over two minutes in duration. This makes fans yearn for more. One of the few songs that surpassed three minutes was his feature on a song by Ghanaian Singer, Gyakie called ‘Forever.’

Songs like ‘Damn’ featuring America’s 6lack is also under three minutes. His popular hit song ‘Bad Influencer’ and his recently released song ‘Understand’ are all under three minutes.

The 24-year-old since his appearance in the limelight has managed to become one of the most relevant musicians in the industry. He has a little over one million monthly listeners on Spotify.
