The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Kaduna State Chapter, has announced plans to hold a state-level roadshow as part of efforts to promote the World Public Relations Forum (WPRF) Abuja 2026, scheduled to take place from November 15 to 22, 2026.
The roadshow, which is part of a national directive by the NIPR, will be held simultaneously across the 36 states of the federation on Saturday, October 3, 2026.
In Kaduna, the roadshow will commence at 8:00 a.m. from the NIPR Secretariat, No. 4 Yakubu Gowon Way, opposite Obasanjo House. The procession will proceed through Leventis Roundabout to Katsina Road Roundabout and terminate at Magajin Gari, at the office of the Honourable Commissioner for Information and Culture.
The closing remarks will be conducted by the Honourable Commissioner for Information and Culture, Alhaji Ahmed Maiyaki.
The initiative is designed to create widespread awareness about WPRF Abuja 2026, drive registration and participation, mobilise institutions, promote Nigeria’s hosting advantage, and generate sustained media visibility for the Forum.
WPRF Abuja 2026 will take place from November 15 to 22, 2026, at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, with more than 126 countries and over 3,000 delegates expected to participate from across the globe.
The Forum is being organised by the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, in collaboration with the African Public Relations Association (APRA) and the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
The NIPR Kaduna State Chapter hereby calls on its members, students, journalists, youth groups, media practitioners, stakeholders and members of the general public to participate in the roadshow as the state joins other parts of the country in building strong national momentum for WPRF Abuja 2026.
Dignitaries expected to participate in the roadshow include the Honourable Commissioner for Information and Culture, the President of Jam’iyar Matan Arewa, the Managing Director of NOCACO, representatives of Farmtrack and Mothercat, the President of Rotary Club of Kaduna Queens, and other notable personalities in the state.
A team of medical personnel will also be on hand to provide first aid and medical assistance to participants before, during and after the procession.
