Beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s National Emergency Relief and Stabilisation Intervention (NERSI) are sharing how they accessed their ₦50,000 support through NairaGram, including credit alerts showing transfers into bank accounts.
Screenshots show one beneficiary receiving a ₦50,000 credit alert from Access Bank. The transaction description identifies NairaGram and NERSI, indicating that the money was transferred from the payment wallet to the bank account.
Users are asking what to enter when prompted for a USSD code. Some comments suggest the final confirmation may involve the recipient’s bank, but these are personal accounts, not official instructions.
The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction lists NairaGram among the five approved payment providers. Selected beneficiaries receive an SMS and must follow their provider’s instructions to accept the grant.
The ministry says the support is free. Beneficiaries must never disclose their Personal Identification Number (PIN), One-Time Password (OTP) or Bank Verification Number (BVN), or pay anyone to release the money.
How to withdraw
Beneficiaries whose NairaGram wallets have been credited can dial *726*00# from their registered phone and follow the prompts to transfer funds to a bank account or Point of Sale (POS) agent. Check the account details before confirming.
If the code fails or the transfer does not reflect, contact NairaGram through its official customer support or call the NERSI helpline on 0700-022-2222.
The Access Bank alert shows one reported successful bank credit. It does not mean beneficiaries must use Access Bank; use the bank transfer option provided through NairaGram’s official process.
