The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), in partnership with technology company Zoho, is offering Nigerian micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) access to business software credits at no cost to help them run their businesses.
The initiative will support up to 25,000 eligible businesses with Zoho Wallet Credits valued at up to ₦20bn. The credits provide access to Zoho’s cloud-based business applications; they are not cash payments and cannot be withdrawn into bank accounts.
Featured products include Zoho Workplace for business email, file storage and team collaboration; Zoho Books for accounting, invoices and expense tracking; and Bigin by Zoho for managing customers, sales and follow-ups.
The partnership also includes training sessions, workshops, consultations and technical support to help businesses use the tools effectively.
Eligible businesses must have a valid 16-digit SMEDAN Unique Identification Number (SUID), printed on their SMEDAN certificate and checked against the agency’s register. The offer is intended for Nigerian MSMEs seeking to adopt digital tools.
SMEDAN’s onboarding portal is currently accessible. The agency has not announced a closing date, so business owners should check the official portal for availability.

How to apply
Visit https://smedan.gov.ng/zoho/ and enter the 16 digits on your SMEDAN certificate. Agree to the stated conditions and verify your ID. Once verified, choose from the available Zoho products and follow the sign-up instructions.
If you do not have a SMEDAN ID, register your business through SMEDAN’s official website first. The agency says registration is free. Do not pay agents or share personalised Zoho sign-up links. SMEDAN warns that sharing these links could lead to licence revocation and suspension of your ID.
