The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has opened a recruitment portal for shortlisted 2025 candidates to complete their final screening update, with the exercise set to close on May 10, 2026.
The development was contained in a statement signed by the management of the Nigeria Customs Service on Wednesday.
The update requires candidates who successfully passed earlier stages of the 2025 recruitment exercise to log into the official portal and submit a designated form used to update their profiles ahead of the final interview and physical screening.
According to the statement, only candidates who scaled through previous phases of the recruitment exercise were invited to participate in this final update stage.
The Service directed applicants to access the official recruitment portal at https://updates.customs.gov.ng and ensure that all information submitted is accurate and valid, noting that these details will form the basis for the final selection process.
The Nigeria Customs Service also reiterated that the recruitment exercise is strictly free of charge and warned applicants against fraudulent messages or individuals requesting payment in exchange for employment.
It stressed that all official communication would only be conducted through verified channels.
To support candidates, the Service provided dedicated help desk lines and official social media handles for inquiries and verification. It further urged shortlisted applicants to complete the update within the stipulated timeframe, warning that failure to comply could affect eligibility for the final stages of the exercise.
The ongoing recruitment drive is part of the Nigeria Customs Service’s broader efforts to modernise its workforce, improve transparency in hiring, and strengthen operational efficiency through technology-driven processes.
The process has now progressed to the final screening update stage, with the portal closing on May 10, 2026.
