A woman has taken to social media to express her heartbreak after revealing the painful words her mother said to her during a phone conversation.
In an emotional video, the woman broke down in tears as she recounted how her mother criticized her for not having a husband or being married.

According to the woman, the phone call began with her mother allegedly insulting her over her relationship status.
Translating the conversation from Yoruba, she said:
“My Mum called me this morning and began insulting me because of man issue.
“She was telling me that those ladies that are my age mates are doing well then i asked her doing well as how beause they have husband and they have given birth my mum then told me that Me that i have not built house or buy a car all the times she has been saying painful words to me it did not pain me like this”
The woman became emotional as she explained that although her mother had said hurtful things to her in the past, this particular conversation affected her deeply.
