Nigerian music producer cum artiste, Philip Kayode Moses, otherwise known as Pheelz has revealed he is interested in a collaboration with Afrobeats star, Rema.

Pheelz, who recently featured on American singer, Usher’s song, said his collaboration with Rema will dictate the future of the Nigerian music industry/Afrobeats.

He stated this when he featured as a guest in the latest episode of the ‘Menisms’ podcast he is also open to working with the ‘Calm Down crooner,’ stressing that he believes that their collaboration would impact the music world.

“I think Rema and I can dictate the future [of Nigerian music/Afrobeats]. I would love to work with him. I think our collaboration will change the world,” he said.

Recall that Pheelz recently disclosed how Divine “Rema” Ikubor inspired him to make the switch from a producer to a singer.

He said a particular tweet from the 23-year-old award winning singer over four years ago changed his career trajectory from producer to artiste.

Pheelz who sat down for a chat on Moni Talks podcast, said during the COVID-19 lockdown he saw a tweet from Rema that changed his life.

The ‘Finesse’ crooner said: “Rema tweeted ‘the world is on pause for you to catch up’ and I felt that that was a message to me personally.”

According to him, that tweet provoked something in him and he told himself he couldn’t afford to leave the world with all the talent he left behind.

“I kept telling myself I have to die empty,” the ace producer added.
